Waste Management Program in City is In line With Sync Team

Recent waste management program that conducted by City Provincial Government is in line with vision and mission from the elected governor and vice governor, Anies Baswedan-Sandiaga Uno.

We have prepared several plans to reduce waste volume

This was seen in Focus Group Discussion (FGD) between Environment Dept. and Synchronization Team at Pola Room, 2nd floor of City Hall, Thursday (7/20).

In that chance, Isnawa Adji, Head of Jakarta Environment Dept. conveyed all work programs to reduce City waste volume, either finish or on progress.

City-Sync Team Discuss Waste Water Management

He mentioned that his side plans to build Intermediate Treatment Facility (ITF), increases the number of waste banks in every RW, and reduce plastic bottle usage that considered not eco friendly.

"We have prepared several plans to reduce waste volume. One of our targets is one RW, one waste bank," he said.

Synchronization team member, Slamet Daryono affirmed, that working program is compatible with selected governor and vice governor mission which is to make Jakarta as green city with development and setup in order to strengthen environment and social supports.

"We agree that waste problem is not only becomes Environment Dept. task in the future, but also our task together. So, it is important to make waste management as one movement, such as clean movement," he closed.
